Disc And Drum Brake 2LB & 10LB Residual Valve Kit For Disc/Drum- This valve is typically used on the disc & drum brake lines to hold 2lbs & 10 lbs of pressure in the line when the master cylinder is located below the floor or the wheel cylinders or valves are higher than the master cylinder. The function of the valve is to prevent the back flow of fluid to the master cylinder and keep a small amount of pressure in the line eliminating excessive travel and that dreadful spongy pedal feel. These are used in modified cars and street rods and customs. The valve has pipe thread fitting in the ends that accepts the common 3/8-24 inverted flare brake line fitting.

The 2 pound residual brake pressure valve is designed for disc brakes. The 10 pound residual brake pressure valve is designed for drum brakes. This kit includes (1) 2 lb and (1) 10 lb residual brake pressure valve. Perfect for your off road, jeep, rock crawler, muscle car, street rod, dune buggy, or sand rail project. Sold as kit.
